Heh, I accidentally overpriced a Forest Loop I had on my cleric when I got EotS, put it up for 3k instead of 300. Came back next morning, had sold 2 Tae Ew blood at 1900 (average to slightly high) each and the Forest Loop...I gotta try this overpricing thing more often. My big thing that sells well is Dye vials....??? I priced 3 stacks at 75pp each and they always sell. Funny, dye sells for 45-60pp each on Prexus... And the old famous CE's. I pay a few newbs I know in RL 5gp each and provide the materials, sell them for 5-10pp, depending on competition. Usually have at minimum, 1500 on my trader. Easiest cash I ever made, and no CT for my wrists

Wow, some strange things you guys have for sale. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've gotten to the point I usually can't sell most of that stuff. If it won't make me 300pp+, or 300pp+ per stack, it doesn't merit a trader slot. Now some of this stuff doesn't sell out very often, but I have enough that does, that I can usually keep my mule pretty well stocked.

Bah, tried the overpricing scheme occasionally, just to see if something sold like that, or just to make sure I didn't accidently sell it, never did seem to work.

What kills me is when you don't sell something for a while as fast as it normally would sell and then in the five minutes you were gone from the room (housework is a great time to have that trader screen up along with monitoring tells from people looking for you or wanting to negotiate) you sell everything at once.

            So..

A watched trader screen never sells?

For me every little bit helps. 1p may be that one that I need in two days to buy that one last supply.

Back when the trivial on plate armor was dropped.
There was whispers about it happening a few days before it did.
I created a newbie orge and sent her out to take on the spiderlings
              in Ferrott.

By the time she hit level 8, she had made 30K plat on spiderling silks at 10p each.

Fine, if someone wants to pay me 1200/hr of newbie time, heaven forbid I turn them down

That's actually a bargain - you get 2 rings per success - assuming someone is selling tempers for just 25 each and a large brick is going for 70p then the person is actually paying cost for them anyway (when trivial failure is considered).

One thing that gives me a giggle is the non-stackable velium prices - folks obviously have NO clue on velium values.

My favorite example is the folks selling the velium peices for 30 each and the small bricks for 40 each - of course, if you just broke those small peices down, you've got 60 plat worth of sellable velium that stacks to boot.

Another big giggle is folks who are selling thier large bricks for 70 and thier blocks for 50 - my only guess is that they think a large brick is better than a block - no biggy - my handy chisel gives me that same large brick for 20 plat less.

No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.
