  • 1 Cake, not 20!

I finally got my brewing to a respectable level so I could make Spiced Jumjum beer. After that, and getting all my combines done to make my first run of 40 combines for the MTP's, I was ready to go!

Made a stack of 20 Jumjum cakes, stuck it in the oven and came out with 10 cake slices. Ok, only 3 more times and I have enough for 40 combines. Yes!

After the 40 combines I thought to myself..."Wait a minute, its not 20 cakes that equals 10 slices its ONE! ARGGGHHHH!

The others i don't care about, but 8 brownie parts to the ONE I needed.

    /cry

    Hobbun,

Poor guy..... 1 brownie part should produce enough for 100 MTP combines.

How is your end of our "250 Baking by Christmas" crusade going?

I spent this past weekend going from 226 to 237 or so using Griffon meat until 229, and then using up all my Hero Parts that I had squirreled away.

Well, I just finally made my first run at 4 skill ups at 40 combines. Only at 193 now. So we'll see. I am thinking more realistically that its going to be a little longer than I thought. But we'll see. Thanks for asking though!

P.S. BTW Lilosh, what happened to your nick? Why the 2 at the end?

So besides the number 2 beside their names, how can we tell the difference between the two? Does one have a beard, and is the other clean-shaven?

No, we both have a goatee, a very wicked looking one.

But Lilosh2 speaks with a vaguely-foreign accent.... In a truly "Bad movie evil-twin with bad german accent" kind of way.

Am I mistaken? It sounds as thought you are upset that a combine requiring a hunted drop (brownie parts & egg) had a high yield?

No Danae. One brownie part is enough for a stack of JumJum Cakes. And 1 JumJum Cake makes 10 cake slices. One combine of MTP's requires two slices of cake. So basically, as Lilosh said, 1 brownie part is good for 100 combines. What I did(stupid, stupid hobbit!) is I took the whole Cake and stuck it in the oven and combined it. Wasting 19 cakes and 190 slices.

What makes it even worse is I finally realized it after doing it EIGHT times! /bonk Hobbun

So in the end I wasted 159 cakes or 1590 slices. And what hurts the most...7 brownie parts.

Oh well, you live and learn.
