    My attempt at a Song!

    Blatently stolen from Lilosh parody ideas, though most of this has been kicking around in my head for some time.

    The tune of I will Survive (heck, most of the words unchanged)

    Err....

    Personally, I didnt find that it flowed.

    With mine, I match the syllables as best I can, and I find lines that rhyme with the real words. I try to sing my version exactly like the real one is sang.

    But this was very clever.

      most places worked, a few didn't. on the whole, i should be more familiar with this song (the original), but I still found it quite funny. ^_^

      Yay for parodies! Too bad my sense of humor sucks like a newts or I'd try one meself. ^_^

        I had the Lyrics copied, and I was changing them as I went, so they are exactly the same... flow wise. Same syllables etc. Maybe people just know the chorous for that song, and not the actual lyric parts.

        /shrug

        Anyhow, I like it, and that's all that really matters to an egocentric like myself .

          As I mentioned, it was clever. :-)


          But the orignial song rhymes with itself, to create a rhythm, and that was modified a bit by yours.

                I enjoyed it, as I love the song, but Lilosh pinpointed why it didn't quite seem to work for me. (And I didn't know why till he posted it). It was very clever though, and I found it entertaining, so keep going, I love these threads.
