    # GM Baking Spoon - On Firiona Vie, the Grandmaster's Baking Spoon was not no-drop. This allowed players to give out an unlimited number of 100% weight reduction bags. This obviously was not the intention for that item, so we have made the Grandmaster's Baking Spoon no drop on Firiona Vie. - erm ... whoops?
The bigger whoops is that only the JC and Baking trohpies are no drop, the rest still aren't.

Whoops! Gotta love them half-assed fixes!

IR a five star shef. My daddie buyed it fur me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they wanted to get serious, they would break all GM trophies on that server. Then, in order to get a new one that worked, you would have to petition a GM, and turn it in to have it replaced, and have a 220+ skill in your chosen profession to boot.

Best way to get this fixed is to use /feedback in game or submit a comment to the Developer's Corner.

Sorry if this makes you feel neglected but, FV is only one server. Sony is busy trying to make the other 50+ nonspecial rules, nonpvp, non...just normal! servers work. When they work(well...work better) then you can expect Sony to get to FV and the others.

            When they work better? HAHA.

Considering the fact that PoTime is still in Beta (one of the guides let this slip to AL) 6 months after PoP release, I don't think they will bother with the rest of this stuff, they are too busy pumping out broken expansions to take our money. I don't mind spending the money really...until I realize it's not working yet. That starts to get me upset. It's been every expansion since SoL too. They are unbalanced, not working yet, not itemized, etc. etc.

The sad thing is that no one out there is currently a serious competitor. I personally believe a huge part of the reason is that everyone seems to insist on implementing PvP on a grand scale, when most people just want to log on, socialize with their friends, and not have to worry about some kid griefing them for no reason at all. On EQ thats what you get, at least until the higher level raid guilds. Then you get into intentional training to wipe out guilds so you can KS spawns, or waiting for a guild to fail, so you can jump in and take a mob that isn't at full health, ogre form blocking hallways, and many other things, but MOST EQ players never see this sort of thing.

If Somone would come out with a game that resembles EQ in the PvP area I think SoE would have some serious competition. I think SoE realizes it too. WoW will crush EQ I think, if the PvP is handled right, but thats at least a year away. DAoC has a non realm server atm as well, that I have heard a few things about, all good. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

In conclusion, they still have quests that are broken from since day one in EQ. They haven't bothered to fix those yet, so they aren't really about content. In fact, the only time they have been serious about content nerfs is when it increases a players power. Those types of things they shut down servers for and implement emergency patches. So based on that, I fully expect to see all GM trophies become nop drop on FV, but I don't expect to see SoE make the effort to fix the situation already in place, ie breaking current trophies, and making the gm perma bag 0% weight reduction and 100 wt until the player (with 220+ skill only) turns in their old one for a new one. It SHOULD be done, but SoE is WAY TOO LAZY to do it. After all, they can't charge extra for the fix.

This thread is going to deteriorate into a rant about how SoE sucks, how GMs(Guides dont know what is going on at HQ, so its their best guess when they say PoTime is in Beta) suck, etc. And im really in a ranting, throw it back at you mood...

So can we get this locked before I say something to get me banned, lol.

Just because someone posted something that bothers you or with which you disagree, doesn't mean you have to reply. If you think that something you want to say might be over the top, write it out in Word or Notepad, do something else until you're calm again, and then reread before posting it. If you can't get it written such that it's not offensive and not inflammatory, then simply don't post in reply to that topic.

The purpose of the moderators is to clean up inadvertent lapses in judgement. The fact that we are here is not free license to write anything, figuring that we'll fix it up for you. That's a good way to get up close and personal with an angry House Ogre.

We try not to close things until they degenerate completely, because sometimes things come back from the brink and get productive again. The exception is when we find multiple threads on the same topic all going in the same downward direction, and start closing them in advance until the wave of anger over that topic passes. But in general, we like to give people the chance to converse in a mature manner whenever possible.
