A few days ago I trived HMP and there was much rejoycing. Guild life was beginning to settle down after a few months of just iggyness. Things looked peachy. Then it all started this morning.
I logged on and decided to try a bit of baking before running off to work. I'm trying to skill up on Holy cake though I'm beginning to think that Griffon/Anaconda melts would be easier. But, I digress. So there I am making Holy Cakes: Twice the divine grace and only half the callories.
I go through my first stack of ingredients. No skill up. No prob, I know it gets tougher to get skill ups as you get higher up. (though this is my highest tradeskill)
Second stack of ingredients. Still no skill up. rince and repeat for stacks three and four. now I'm out of Celestial glowing holiness, and about 10 minutes late for leaving for work. *shakes a fist at EQ and my inability to resist its Siren's Call*
Zoom zoom zoom off to work I go. Well more like Zoom Zoom Screeech! *blinka* ooh, traffic. Ah well, what can one do but sing along with the songs on the radio. Nothing to horrible, just minor irritations and listening to the Poxy Boggards is making that irritation go bye bye.
Well, I get into work and it's a slow day. So, I decided to go and check on the Guild web page like I normally do. It's a yahoo groups thing, so I go and sign in and notice that I'm a member of that group. Ok. Strange, but that's happened before. I figure it's just a yahoo thing. So I go to re-sign up with the Guild page. Everything goes peachy.
Log on in, take a look around. Notice that some one who was temporarilly banned from the guild has not only signed up on the web page but is now a moderator. Get puzzled. Yes he was banned, but then it was lifted, and the he left on his own. Ok, I know that person has some friends in the guild, no biggie. That he's a moderator and I'm not is mildly irksom, but also no biggie.
Time to type in a message in responce to something asked of me.
:YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM THIS GROUP
*pause* *blink* Yahoo goof? Nope. :evil: I say. and :evil: again. I've been banned from the guild group page by some one who isn't even a member of the guild any more. *frumps* Now I've heard of bad break-ups and this one probably ranks in the top 100. Things though, I thought were settled.
I'm amazingly grumpy about it but it's gotten to the point where it's just : *frump* *sigh* and then decided that this pettiness isn't worth it.
now here comes the oddling question:
Can a guild leader leave their guild and yet not have it be dissolved? If so, how is this done?
oh, and iffn' you read through all of this rant sorry about the melodrama. I just kinda needed to vent a bit. Thankee.
