    I assume it's not cheaper then ribbons if you have to tip/pay/beg a chanter to make the mana?

    gold ribbon is ~10pp (200pp a stack)

    stack of pearls is 94pp, stack of poison vials in 34pp (128pp a stack for viscous mana). You also need 2-6 spider silks, a pattern and 4 heady kiolas. I don't know kiola prices offhand (to make), nor do I know silk prices offhand either.

    Depending on how well you tip, and how easy (cheap) the foraged components are to get... maybe.

    Overall, I'd call it a tossup, except I hear ribbons don't sell back well, and wu's does sell back fairly well (you'll recover most of the raw material for the mana vial costs at any rate).

    Of course, I have a pocket enchanter. Shrug.

      That's a good point about the mana vial cost. I actually levelled a chanter to 12 to make them for me. Took forever though, with her teeny little mana pool

        Of course, I skilled up on Mino from 123-200...

        And yes, I too have a pocket Enchanter.

          Gold Ribbon = 30p (600 per stack)
          Silver = 15p (300 per stack)
