  • JC - can it be fixed?

Been a while since my chanter has played with her JC so since she was a bit broke from finally getting her trophy, I descided to celebrate her having made 34th by banging out some plat jewelery and seeing about turning it around in the bazaar.

    Ouch!

Hard crash and burn in the profit potential dept - atleast in the plat jewelery dept, nothing was selling for more than 30-50 plat over cost at best - many items were only selling for merchant buy price (what's the point in that - I sell to the merchant at that point?).

So I guess the question is, is there any hope for JC?

Are there just way too many GM jewelers out there that just about any new jewelery that comes out is doomed to follow in the footsteps of the old jewelery unless it's got some obscene rare drop component or requires an uber level to cast the spell to enchant it?

Seeing how smooth the progression in JC is confirgured, there's obviously no way they can do a smithing style fix for JC.

Any ideas or thoughts that could help us jewelers make a few plat again?
    Cigarskunk!
No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

The only way to save jewelry would be to wipe everyones skill, and make it harder to skill up.

At this point , I know half a dozen 250 jewelrs, and I still dont go to most of them since I know of once working on JCM.
