• High Elf Cultural

A friend of mine mentioned he had a High El that worshipped mithaniel marr and it got me wondering, why are high elfs restricted to imbueing armor only for tunare?

This is unfortunate, especially now that frogloks can wear the stuff and since it seems other races can imbue for multiple deities. What's up with that?

Uh, no.

Only Humans have a wide range of deities they can imbue for. High Elves are limited to Tunare, Dark Elves are limited to Innoruuk, Ogres are limited to Rallos Zek, Cazic Thule, and Innoruuk, etc. The reason why High Elves cant imbue for Randy Savage is because he's not the High Elven patron deity.

The only reason high elves can only imbue emeralds (thus making only imbued armor for Tunare) is that all their priests worship her.

Only some races can imbue for multiple deities.

Dark Elves cannot, Barbarians cannot, High Elves cannot, Iksar cannot (not that they should need to).

High Elven Plate Wearers can only worship Tunare... so it only makes sense that their Plate can only be imbued for Tunare.
However, the High Elven Casters can worship a few different deities... and given that Humans can't make BD-Caster gear, it only makes sense that High Elves should be able to make multiple Imbues on their BD-Caster gear.

Of course, DE Casters can worship a few different deities as well... so they should be able to make multiple Imbues as well.

And add a Solusek Ro Imbue to Erudite BD-Caster gear.

Well they also need true adamantite bd cultural chain armor for rogues (they can wear the old style but not the new style cultural (which has less ac than banded in most cases)

DE's casters can worship alot of gods too. I know they can worship bristlebane, solusek ro and a few others (actually that might be it because those were the 2 gods that used to make some de kos in overthere)

Maybe they should make a generic elf cultural for high/dark elf pure casters that worship other gods.

That's called "unimbued"

Dark Elven casters are limited to Innoruuk, Solusek Ro, and Agnostic for deity choices, and seeing as Innoruuk created us, he gets the imbue spell. Likewise, High Elven Casters get either Tunare, Solusek Ro, or Agnostic, and seeing as Tunare made them, she gets the imbue spell. Worship another god, or none at all? High elf casters have many more choices of gods to choose from. My enchanter worships EMarr and my husband's wizard worships Karana. Yes, we know those are stupid choices, but they were born in Jan 2000, when they seemed like nice choices.

Looking at my old Prima guide from Kunark era, High Elves can also worship MMarr in addition to Tunare, SolRo, EMarr, Karana and agnostic.

I left out the huge range of gods an Enchanter can choose because, 99.9995% of the time, Enchanters choose Agnostic

I believe that all the high elf int casters have the same wide range of choices, except that only wizards (and I believe all wizards, though I can't say Frogs with certainity) can worship Solusek Ro. Perhaps they need to add an npc in the temple of Solusek Ro like the one's for the cultural robes, who will only respond to Sol Ro wizards with patterns used to make only Sol Ro robes. That way we don't add Sol Ro to an arbitrary culture.

Anyway... with the exception of Rallos Zek and Veeshan, each culture only gets imbues for the deities they have priests of. (I almost said race and changed it to Culture, for the dwarven bristlebane armor, since Bristlebane is a halfing priest deity. And possibly gnome, I don't recall.)

IIRC, all frogs *must* worship MMarr.

EDIT: Just checked and Wizzie Frogs do have to worship MMarr.
