Grrr....
I try my best to subdue my passive aggresive, bipolar, schizophrenic, compulsive personality while playing virtual games. Though my effort is valiant at times, some things just drive me nuts.
From out of the blue, I am getting drowned in orders for Heraldic armor. Everyone wants it! Disgusting amounts of plat just waiting to hop into my happy bank account. But there is a problem...
There is a new smith on the block. One who is evidentally far more devoted, hungry and infatuated than I. I picture him, alone in his mother's basement. A small fridge full of V8, some stale packages of Nutter Butters and an enveloping mass of dirty socks and dishes surrounding his computer. He does not sleep. He has not seen daylight. He only smiths.
He floods the bazaar with masses of Heraldic. Radiant Bracer for 2k, Fetid gorget for 4k, Dragonkin Belt for 8k! Meanwhile, I CAN"T FIND AN ESSENCE OF SUNLIGHT to save my life! He buys them all, every one. He makes armor that nobody will buy for ridiculous prices. He is the bane of my existance.
Fallwell "/auction WTB Essence of Sunlight 200 plat each! pst"
Newsmith "/auction WTB Essence of Sunlight 220 plat each. send tells"
Fallwell "/auction WTB Essence of Sunlight 250 plat each please. pst"
Newsmith "/auction Buying Essence of Sunlight 300 plat each. send tells"
I picture him again with an endless smirk on his face. With each essence he buys scratching a mark on his tally sheet. A giant gold star pinned atop his name and a gravelly charred "X" through mine. The score below reading 38-0. In the 92 hours straight that he has played, I imagine him hitting the "update trader" button a hundred-thousand times. Burning through stacks of SOW potions to reduce the possibility of anyone else getting to an essence trader first.
After 3 days and 2 essence of sunlight accumulated, I went to Qeynos to try to make arms for a friend. I failed on the royal temper.
LOL!

We have a few fire glazes, a fair supply of air glazes, and less than a half dozen earth and water glazes completed. Elemental pottery has very low drop rates on the bottleneck component. And given the fantastic mark-up between selling the raw components and selling a finished good, don't expect to see many raw components in The Bazaar any time soon.
