  • Not nearly as bad a return as I expected this year

Well I was in a pretty bad mood having just done my taxes, but it all got better. I logged on and found all kinds of nice goodies on the vendors, bunch of various lq/mq/hq skins...even a few HQ bear skins, some tufts of dire wolf fur, some other nice componets as well. I was almost starting to break even on the mood balance chart when I found a drop of pure rain on a vendor...that put me over the top and then some =)

Now to sell it so I can fund some more skill-ups.

I found a drop of rain on a vendor as well the other day, was really happy
Wish I had found it right after taxes though, I was in a foul mood then.

Heh, I've never been so lucky. Though I did find some iron oxide on a merchant for a couple gold each once back when they were selling for 500pp. hehehe

I found two drops of pure rain on a vendor once. Also got 3 sandstorm pearls on same vendor.

Havent sold any yet since I have no idea how much they go for.

Well, my return allowed me to get a new computer, so my mood was less-than-foul after doing my returns (which I filed in February - thus avoiding the Procrastinator post in this forum -- Whew!).

This may not seem earth-shattering, but considering I'm normally foul-tempered and actually have procrastination listed as my "best quality" in my high school yearbook, I feel the irony should not be overlooked. 8)

Last night, I had such a great day vendor mining. Thanks to the House Ogre for sharing how to do this, I went to the Bazaar and PoK and mined (really the first time I actually mined...usually, I only buy what I need off of them and if it uncovers something else, great...if not, I move on). In the Bazaar, I got a Larrikan's Mask with all 10 charges for a few gold (comes in handy on a 54 Paladin). I was very happy, so I moved on to PoK. The 3rd vendor I mine had 53 Hero Parts! Yes, 2 stacks and an additional 13. Add to that 3 HQ Rockhopper hides, 3 Superb Rockhopper Hides, spider silks, and some acrylia and I must say that I had a GREAT day at the ole mine. And I must have passed over 2 dozen or so Storm Rider Blood. Thanks House Ogre!

On a previous "mining" (though, it was more vendor browsing), I had gotten 76 Lotus Pies for 2 gold, 1 silver each in PoK (on the Erudite where the 2 ovens are). Call me a griefer (though I only matched the current lowest price in the bazaar), but I sell them for 30pp each in the bazaar (I now have 10 left). I found 16 Star Ruby Encrusted Steins on a vendor (ran out of room with more on the vendor) in PoK (the wood elf looking lady named "Muddypants" or something).

Happened to me too, about 2 nights ago! Elisha Dirtyshoes.
But I only had room for 10. Lousy Non-Stacking Steins.

And Vendor Mining is WAY Greater then Exp.

Well, someone bought both Drop of Pure Rain for 5k each overnight.
Now I have some funds to buy sea foam and try to get to 200 smithing.
