The fact that Vah Shir cannot wear BD is the reason why my Warrior alt (that I rarely use - He's lvl 4!) is a Tribunal-worshipping Barbarian and not a Vah Shir.

(I don't plan on doing any major Blacksmithing for a loooooooong time, anyway)

Yes, it's sad to realize that I won't ever make a Vah Shir Warrior or Bard, simply because of the lack of BD armour. It's bad enough that I keep thinking of making a Froggy Shamaness to replace my Vah Shir Shamaness...

If they ever fix it and either give Vah Shir their own cultural armor and\or weapons (and make them actually worth using) or make them able to wear some other race's cultural armor (the non-race restricted, that is), then I bet the # of Vah Shir PCs would shoot up by 150% or more overnight.

If they don't want to give Vah Shir full-on cultural, then how about at least giving Vah Shir Shamans the ability to imbue Swirling Shadows, so that there could be a more powerful version of Shadowscream armor and making this imbued version of Shadowscream usable and smithable by Vah Shir only? Or doing something similar with the Shaded armor or whatever its called (the armor made by combining the no rent armor that drops off Shades in Shadeweaver's with patchwork armor and a claw needle).

I've always maintained that the easiest way to give Vah Shir access to Cultural would be to put them on Full Mithril and Blessed Full Mithril (for the Warriors & Bards), Tunarian Scout Armour (for the Shamans & Rogues) & Tunarian Soldier Armour (for the Beastlords).

You'd have to have non-Imbued versions of the Wood Elf stuff for this to work on almost all the servers, of course.

Why? Because on the PvP server where no one can be Agnostic, all Vah Shir follow Tunare!

This would have the added bonus of having a set of armour for Tunarian Rogues & Agnostic/other Human/Halfelf/Woodelf Rogues.
