New Research

I was giddy when they added the new research. I knew that I would never have enough money to buy KEI (still 50kpp on Xegony) and our guild isn't capable of raiding the zones where it drops. The same goes for my brother with Malo & Torpor (both around 70kpp).

I figured the components wouldn't be dropping like flies, but one thing I didn't count on was greedy melon-heads setting up in the bazaar with all the good components at 5,000pp per.

At this point, KEI has dropped to around 30k, but most other hard to get spells have not dropped a copper. I find it interesting that most 61-65 spells are considerably cheaper than the hard to get 50-60 ones.

Anyway, if these traders were standing on the street in front of me, I'd probably jackslap 'em. /rant off

As for the 61-65 spells being cheaper, you are aware just how much easier they are to get right?

It seems that a lot of the research components drop in specific locations. Perhaps you could get a group of friends to go play in those zones with you and your brother in the hopes of getting the pages to drop.

Actually, both my mains are only 55, so I haven't had a chance to see how the post 60 parchment drops are.

Thanks, Cantatus, that's a good idea. The guild hands all the new research components over to me, but I think maybe I'll organize some guild raids to try to get the pieces we need the most.

Try CT - my group had quite a few research pages drop while working the mosquito camp.

I had new research items drop in Chessboard and AiW inPlane of Mischief. Thats a nice quiet spot to 2-box. =)

I would LOVE to go to the Plane of Mischief. Up to now I've only seen it on the monitor next to mine (boyfriend's). Is there some way to get there other than a suicide run through ToV?
