  • A letter to an old friend

    Dearest RNG,

I haven't heard any good news from you lately, so I thought I'd write you this letter. I know our friendship has erroded over the past two years, but I'm here to reconcile our once fruitful relationship.

I remember the first time I noticed you in the fall of 2000. You were much kinder then, and we made many things together. Sitting in tranquil Qeynos chomping on batwing crunchies, decked in banded and washing it all down with the brew of the day. I grew fond of you, and called you "friend."

As time passed, we grew apart. Our partnership in creation dwindled as I struggled to combine anything, save poverty with frustration. During these dark days I grew stronger, albeit slowly. I wondered where you were, who you were with, and when you would come back to me and revel in the glee of our past.

I am concerned that my many prayers for your painful death has come back to haunt me now. Instead of regarding me kindly, you glower at my honest intentions. Why must you glower at a man you once loved?

Therefore, to express my heartfelt desires, I have sacrificed 16 consecutive pieces of Heraldic armor in your name. As a Grandmaster, I honor you and welcome you back to my fire.

    Warmest Regards,

    Fallwell

      Dearest Fallwell,

I left you because you thought it was all you, you selfish brute. Don't you know I'm high maintenance?! Those sunny days in Qeynos could no longer satisfy me. You let me taste the honey of your success - but then left me for that saucy blackened iron forge.

Feed me, Fallwell, I cried in vain. My only way to get your attention was winding my voodoo ways on your creations.

You took your love to the fire - my warmth for you has turned to stone. You are my plaything. Sacrifices mean nothing.

      Ficklely yours,

      RNG

          Sam,
Did you know your EQ name is the same as a word in a vary good book for "Silence?" (Seriously, I am not being a smart-butt here)

If you like to read Fantasy it's a book series that starts off with a book Called Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon

Ahh, you have to be nice to the RNG?

I usually only scream and blame the RNG when things go bad, and I thank Quellious when things go right .

As for the Rhapsody series... I read it, and I liked it. Did feel kinda... not so manly... reading it though, it was almost like a book that should have had Fabio on the cover in parts.

I've gone out with RNG.

She's a filthy, lying, cheating wh***!!!!

I've given that little b**** the best years of my character's lives and while there have certainly been some very pleasant evenings, all said, the little wench was more prone to leave me alone and cold.

I've never struck a female in my 30 years, but I'm to the point where, for the RNG atleast, I'm considering making just one exception.

                      Cigar,

You've treated the RNG badly all along, you did not deserver her affection.

I've been seeing her behind your back... and though we have had some rocky times (I wont forget my failed trophy RNG), all and all, it's been a good run so far .

I just wanted to give you this warning:

If you lay a finger on my gal, getting back your hometown will be the least of your worries.
