Darn it all!
I wanted to skill up my tailoring some in order to do my Shawl quest so I f figured I would check the bazaar for silks - they were going for a mear 2pp each - what the heck?
But it gets worse - hero parts were selling for just 5pp each, someone had justice fruit for 1pp each, all manner of acrylia was at less than 5pp each and HQ cat pelts were being sold for a song!
What the heck is this crap?!?
With prices like this, ANYONE can afford to get into and GM tradeskills?!?!?
Look at me, I'm made of plat, I want to pay 50-100pp per combine to the farmers. What am I going to do with all of this plat I've got left now - I wanted to skill up my tailoring but thanks to those freakin farmers selling raw materials for so little, I've hit 200 now and I'm stuck with all of this left over plat.
It gets worse too - the tradeskillers have been having price wars on my server to see who can sell items for the most plat. I try to price my stuff at 50pp and some idiot comes along and overcuts me for 60pp. So I raised my prices to 70pp and then he bought me out and put both his stuff and mine up for 100pp - the nerve of some people?!?!?
What the heck am I going to do with all of that plat from this kinda crap?!? Between the darned farmers selling the raw materials for next to nothing and the stinking price wars with people raising prices higher and higher - I've already twinked out my main and seven alts with 100k lizards and an easy 500k worth of gear each and I've still got plat just pouring out of my bank.
It's gotten so bad that myself and other tradeskillers have been standing around the Nexus stone in PoK sending tells to newbies and anyone else we can find along the lines of "u take my plat PLZ???" or just standing around shouting/oocing to the zone "can someone take some of my plat PLZ - I've got too much and have already bought all of my gear and spells - giving away 20k plat at nexus stone - PLZ come and take it."
It doesn't really work though - sigh.
So, has anyone else been having these problems on thier server?
