Rogues can walk up to gods, and tweak their noses.

SKs/Monks can fool gods and higher powers repeatedly unto thinking they are dead.
Oddly, these are the only 2 instances on the list which aren't xp producing.

lots of chanters are duoing with Rangers because they are great pullers in the outdoor PoP zones, can heal, Snare, root (without breaking mez) and, unlike druids, can take a couple of hits when things dont go as smooth as one would like. Oh, and they can deal decent (not pet like, but decent) damage with arrows. =)
Ha! Druids are great pullers outdoors as well (innate camo clicky, harmony of nature), great healers in a chanter-druid scenario, great buffs (pot9, foe), ensnare and root with nuke or root without nuke (for different methods of charm duoing), nuke and dot (duoing with a chanter, you've got c4 or c5 plus pot9 - infinite mana) and evac if things get dicey. =)

Mages nuke 80% as well as a wizard, and have a pet that is 50% as good as a rogue.
Yes, problem is the pet tanks as well as a rogue vs. PoP mobs too. :P

Mage soloing in PoP is very difficult to do unless you count being 65 with charmed pet in BoT. Which requires (A) 65, (B) rare 65 spell and (C) flags to get there.

For the rest of the magicians not in the above category, soloing anywhere in PoP is very tricky.

Since this is a rant, I dont mind stepping on a toe or two.

Sorry people, but if you are complaining about soloing exp, go complain about your new BMW not being the color you want to a person who cant afford to fix their broken down 15 year old car.

What about the Warriors? They cant solo in PoP, period! If they want exp, they need to get a group. A bad group and they will actually lose exp, a good group and they will crawl slowly towards 1 AA point, probably getting there at the end of the night, if they make it. A great group(or a higher tier plane, PoV and up) and they will probably make 1 a night.

Its not easy for warriors to get groups anymore. They dont have the DPS of a rogue, nor can they hold agro as well as an SK or a Paladin. They stand there, and they get hit. Thats about it....

So what if during the play time, PoP is flooded with SKs and Paladins, who if equipped moderately well, have just as much AC as the warrior? The warrior sits there with LFG on for hours and crys into his/her Epic's scabard.

I dont play a warrior(not even on TV), but I know quite a few melee and I feel their pain. There are so many melee, that its hard for them to find a group. A caster can solo(not always easily, but its almost always possible). Yes, clerics cant solo in PoP, but come on! Clerics are always in demand. Melee's cant once they get into PoP(especially after the fear nerf in PoJ). If they do, they are going to lose more exp than they gain. I know people who have killed themselves down to 60, because after 60, they just cant find groups.

So next time you complain about your Solo exp not being as good as you want it to be, just think to yourself "Well, it could be worse, I could be a warrior and be sitting in PoT LFG while I clean my house".

Wizards can get 24% AA from a quad, but need very uber gear to pull off one quad every 5 minutes.

Enchanters can get 8% AA from a kill.

Druids can get 6% AA from a kill, and can snare there way out of danger.

Necros can get 7% AA from a kill, and can snare / FD their way out of danger, and self rez if they have to.

Shamans can solo storm giants, slowly.

Clerics can EACH heal 600 HP/S for 13+ minutes solid, with good enough gear/buffs. (100 mana / tick mana regen, 144 mana / tick chain casting cheal, neg -44 mana per tick, 6 k mana pool = 13 minutes of cheal chaining)

Rangers can put out 300 + DPS aggro free.

Rogues can walk up to gods, and tweak their noses.

SKs/Monks can fool gods and higher powers repeatedly unto thinking they are dead.

Druids can heal 400 HP/S for 5 minutes, and nuke 80% as well as a wizard.

Wizards can sustain 200 DPS indefinately, and spike as high as 360 DPS. A well geared wizard can maintain 360 DPS for 8 minutes, limited only by aggro.

Mages nuke 80% as well as a wizard, and have a pet that is 50% as good as a rogue.

Necros can do 200+ DPS while taking 200+ DPS in aoes, and have a pet attacking the same time.

            Nerf plz.
And us Beastlords, we can't CC, we can't charm, we can't tank, we can't fool anyone, our pets are weaker than mage pets, our melee is almost as bad as bards, our DoTs are like those of shaman 20 levels below us, our nukes are like wizards 30 levels below us, our mana regen is like chanters 25 levels below us, our haste is like shamans 15 levels below us, our heals are like clerics 40 levels below us, or slows are like chanters/shaman 20 levels below us...
            Yes, nerf please! :P

Ironically mage/cleric combo is the best charm killing duo (in BOT of course)

Mage mezzes elemental, malo's it. Then charms it. When charm breaks the cleric casts sound of might (.75 second cast stun) to stun it (almost never resisted as long as its maloed)

This gives them easily enough time to recharm. If malo wears off mob the mage simply mezzes their pet. Re-malo's it then recharms.

Honestly, this post is getting a little heated.

It's essentially turned into a "Why Class_X is worse than Class+Y" thread. This really isn't the board for these types of rants. Sorry, locking this before it gets any more heated.
