Irony... because hot pink is traditionally not a masculine color.

Irony... trying to be clever, thousands of boys have proven how unoriginally they think.

A paladin on my server lost a bet with his friend just before LoY came out. The result was that the paladin had to dye himself hot pink and stay that way for a month. He looks like a walking Pepto-Bismol bottle.

The other night, while grouped with this paladin, our puller remarked at how easy it was to see camp. The next day I went to a pickup AD raid led by this paladin. He was able to say "Casters stand HERE" and "Tanks form a wall HERE" and we knew where he wanted us.

For those who care more about the game than their appearance, hot pink makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if he kept it.

"The King of Jesters, and Je-ester to KIngs!!"

-- The Great Giacomo, impersonated by Danny Kaye in "The Court Jester"
OMG, I swear I thought I was the only one on the planet who ever watched that film. So many of my friends (wrong generation I guess) have never seen/heard of it. Danny Kaye mesmerized me as a kid.

I'm so in love with that movie I went and bought the DVD.

Hawkins: I've got it! I've got it. The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle, the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true, right?
Witch: Right. But there's been a change. They broke the chalice from the palace.
Hawkins: They broke the chalice from the palace?
Witch: And replaced it with a flagon.
                Hawkins: Flagon.
Witch: With a figure of a dragon.
                Hawkins: Flagon with a dragon.
                Witch: Right.
Hawkins: Did you put the pellet with the poison in the vessel with the pestle?
Witch: No! The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon, the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!

                Witch: Just remember that.

I like the silly aspects of the game,
so I enjoy the wonderfully tacky, garish
                  looks people put together.

                  Don't be so grim.

                  Dye! Dye! Dye!

                  Zedzed, too lazy to dye

I happen to like the dyes. At least when people actually think about the colours they are going to use.

I chose mithrel grey and my kitty actually looks like shes wearing plate leggings and arms, unfortunately the rest of her still has that god awful wallpaper woven look that all the vah shir beastlords get.

I changed it as I can't stand the rust colour of Wildlords tunic or the Brown Chiten protectors.

Now, using the armor dyes on my froggie cleric, banded armor looks like FS plate.

                    Take care all.

                    *hugs*

My male paladin ran around in pink for a LONG time. Not due to some fashion preference, but because I had made him a full set of Ero Marr imbued field plate, and he was proud to wear the armor of his Deity.

Luckily, she has let the poor guy off the hook, by making her heraldic armor a different color
