Froggie Shamans screwed already?

I was just looking at another post here somewhere and linked to it was http://lucy.fnord.net/item.html?id=30918. Notice the race. All *except* ERU HIE FRG. Now that's fine for erudites and high elves, they can't be any of the chain classes anyway, but frogloks? I know LoY isn't live yet, but do you think they're doing another 'iksar-can't-wear-plate' thing?

You won't find any item in Lucy that lists FRG among the wearable races (aside from some thing that leaked from the LoY beta on Test), they haven't been added yet.

On the LoY site are screenies of Frogs in Chain, would be pretty daft to make if they can't wear chain

Phew! I hadn't realized they aren't changing the race tags on the armor before the release like they did with Vah'Shir. Thanks to whoever posted that in another thread.

As for the picture on the LoY site, that wouldn't have been conclusive. Iksar have plate graphics though in general they cannot wear plate armors. As a lether-restricted druid, I can wear crystal chitin, elysian, golden efreeti, and vermiculated, to name a few, that have chain or plate graphics. This is nice because half elves have yucky-green leather.

They aren't releasing the info on the frogs so that folks can't put together thier twink outfits ahead of time.

This will also slow down the farmers a little bit since they won't be able to truelly figure out what will be the hands down best item to farm for frog twinks.

This should be rather effective if everyone remembers what they did with the fungi tunics to slow down the twinks, but, since folks do tend to have short memories, I'm holding back as much plat as possible to pick up some of the gear that gets dumped on the market once it's confirmed that it's no good for frog twinking. :twisted:

Frogs both wear chain and plate, so they wear all armors. You can tell from the npcs in gukta.

Anyone who thinks the fungi will be frog wearable needs their head examined.

If VI is feeling generous, FRG will be added to the Luclin L51 fungi from the caller quest.

I am busted! Guilty as Charged! JumpyRezAlot DoesNotTasteLikeChicken has not been born yet, and about all I can figure out for twink stuff is the imbued MithMar rings. I will never be able to afford a fungi (call me cheap, or call me tight with money like bark on a tree, it is about the same), so what races or classes can equip one are not a big deal to me. Besides, most of the nice stuff we have come across seems to have a required level or recommended level of 45-62.
