Dark Elven Cultural broke, looks like it has been broke for almost a year.

Bummer.

I made a new warrior and have done the initial collection for my cultural armor. I turned in the stuff and got the book, but when I try to get the quests for the symbol augments, there is an error in the text. It appears that the key word "valuable" is used twice for two different quests. It seems to be used to initiate the symbol augments as well as the darkhollow geode quest, thus I cannot get the augment quest.

Here is a link to the Allah's pages on this. Discussion on the bottom of the page makes it look loike this error has been around since May of 2008. A long time to have a goof in game in my opinion. I guess there just are not any DE cultural armorers out there.

This sounds like an issue that would best be formulated into a '/bug' or '/feedback' ticket. These type of tickets go to our QA and development teams to look over and test issues. It appears that the key word to get the artisan quests for thie Cultural armos is used for 2 different quests. The wird "valuable" is flagged for both the advanced Darkhollow geode quest as well as the symbol quest line. I cannot get the quest for the symbols from this NPC. It appears that this has been a known problem since at least May of 2008. Going on aalmost a year with this issue not resolved. Please do something about this.

Luckily the person most likely to resolve this issue is associated with these forums.

However, /feedback and /bug are valuable tools that will indeed bring the matter directly to the attention of the team who can fix it, unlike a GM.

I can work on leveling and skilling up. Correct me if I am wrong, but can the symbols be made by anybody with the appropriate books using a different water for the deity specificity?

I was wondering why Elaborate Dreadguard armor is still priced over 100k per piece on my server.

It is usually because one person has a molopoly on the stuff, either because nobody else makes it or because so few people want to keep it on their trader for the month necessary to sell it.

It is often significantly cheaper to look for a Blacksmith and contract the armour rather than pay Bazaar prices for it, or if you have 100k, learn the skill yourself and make your own armour.

Unless you feel like doing extensive quests, you will still be at the mercy of others for your symbols, but at least you will end up paying less in the long run.
