Grandmaster's bag for alchemy trophy... again?

I just came back to EQ, having done my grandmaster's bag way back when they introduced them. Now i am doing the trophy quest... and one step is making the grandmaster's bag.

so... given mine is lore. i have to not only make it again, but destroy mine? There's no grandfathering of bags you already have? What kind of crap is this?!?!?!

ugh... I don't want to do this again. Do I have to?
