Scheduled Downtine and lack of update to network status

Is it me, thought 6 hours was 6hours not 9+hours....wish SOE would update network status when patches running over est time....or did someone forget to plug in in logon server!!!!!

Aye, I am not in trader mode right now, because I had to leave for work at 11:45a EST, and the login servers were STILL not working.


Christ, after HOW MANY patches they have gone through, you'd think they would know how to let people LOG IN after a Karana-be-****ed patch.

Same, not in trader because I couldn't log in before going to work.

I wish the error wasn't 'cannot connect' or 'login server congested'... it should say it's still down for the patch.

Anyhow, I am slightly upset, I spent 1k on ingredients for brewed stuff I had hoped to unload most of today

That's nothing. Wait til you get online! You too can experience:

Booting to desktop every time you zone!
Defaulting to Walk mode!
Hundreds of angry people!

Changing to default UI means you crash to desktop EVERY time try to log in. I was particularly annoyed about this, as I'd accepted the zone thing and was about to settle down in PoK for a session of brewing...

We've all been playing long enough to know better than to try to be productive any day there's gonna be a patch that's 4 hours or longer because we all know from XP that they're gonna screw one or more things up so royally that they'll need one or more emergency patches to follow up.
