For the time being it appears as though the people duping the porous loam, exquisite spinneret fluid and exquisite marrow on Saryn have either stopped or have been suspended. I believe the later. Quantities being sold seem to have dropped and prices are going back up slowly.

I would like to thank the GM's who looked into this matter and helped get it resolved.

I imagine that those surpluses were more from people ghostkilling high level mobs at rapid rates.

Dupers don't dupe stuff to sell in the bazaar, they dupe stuff to sell to vendors. Less noticeable, and really more productive (since vendors have unlimited plat, and if you had a vendor that was already full of junk, no one would ever notice that he had 5000000000 shaped taafs or whatever they decided to sell.

At most they would dupe just enough to make their own armor.

Well however they are doing it it is happening again. Another person is dumping large amounts of these items in the bazaar. They are not even listed on EQPlayers yet so they must have just been made.



Ngreth is anything being done about this? Last night I watched the person sell as much porous loam and some exquisite to the buyers in the the bazaar until everyone was out of platinum. I know we can just keep reporting everytime this happens but it almost seems too late.

It seems to be happening again on Quellious too. Most of the usual buyers for porous loam, exquisite spinnerettes and exquisite marrow don't show buy lines now, while quantities for sale are ten times higher than usual and prices are already dropping dramatically.

On Quellious, the character selling huge quantities to buyers now doesn't show up on EQPlayers either, but this is probably because they've disabled public viewing permission rather than because they're too new.

Yes Bupper they are new characters. The person I report is now on EQplayers with Total Time Played Zero seconds.

One thing I don't understand is if individual is reported how can he continue to dump these items into the market. My buyer has purchased about 40 porous loam alone from this person in the last two days and add in the exquisite marrow and spinneret on top of that. Swifter action definetly needs to be implemented.

It is currently so bad that Porous Loam, Exquisite Spinneret and Marrow are being bought on buyers for 10 k, which is 10 k cheaper then the alkalai loam, flawless spinneret and superb marrow are being purcashed for.

I think the market has finally been saturated to the point it can not sustain a reasonable buying price. Can easily see Sublime augs and Elegant armor selling for 50 k pp or less soon.
