Missing String??

Anyone know why my /autojoin for eqtraders channel in game is borked up? When I type in "/join serverwide.eqtraders:eqtraders" the next line down I see is,
"Channels: 1=serverwide.eqtraders(59)"
"You are not on any channels"
"Missing String"

So this is affecting everyone on my server then? (Prexus) Man they must be desperate to silence Toprem!!

It may be a patched file (dbstr_us.txt)... but that message means the server thinks you should have one version of it and you have another. You can try renaming your version and see if a patch corrects it.

Maybe the problem is at serverwide. I usually sit on one serverwide channel. When the autojoins fire, I go into it, then get ejected, and the last channel on my list moves up to take its place.

I haven't had any problem with eqtraders or other serverwide channels. Could be specific server(s) and not all servers has bad data.

Well, I can't speak of any other servers since I only play on Prexus but I can say that renaming the file Ngreth suggested to force the server to repatch had no effect. I am not able to /autojoin or /join serverwide.eqtraders. I guess I will have to post about it if there is no mention of it on the SOE message board. (yuck! Ptooie! The whiner to intelligent poster ratio is WAY out of whack over on those boards.)
