I haven't played EQ in a couple of months due to real life being crazy. I have been keeping tabs on the appearance of the fabled drinks during that time though. I hadn't checked in a couple of weeks but today searching Lucy for "oriaas" turned up one of the drinks. Kinda cool to search your own name on there ehe.

I jumped in game to see how much they were selling for in the bazaar. They must be semi-popular as I couldn't find any on 3 servers. I bit the bullet and looked at the item via the buyer window.

It was kind of boring to find em that way. Oh well. At least I can make em now that I am back and hand em out to the ladies

Part of the semi-lack of popularity at this time is probably that the extra stat does not yet work. It will someday!

That, and permafrost crystals have been rather annoying for me to farm. I've had two runs through PF killing every goblin up and getting 2 or less crystals. The perk is that in a few hours of wiping out mistmoore I had over 200 gargoyle eyes... give and take I guess.

Given that I like to keep about a 4 stack surplus of my own before selling (x2 for my bots as well), I'm thinking a lot of people are farming for themselves first and selling later (stats are simply amazing imo).

Heh, Permafrost was the easy bit for me. I've been stockpiling it since the days I used it to make faithstones and spiritstones, so I've got several stacks banked. I'm going to have to hit up Mistmoore for eyes, though.

Its about as fitting item I could have since I am both a tradeskill and AC junky. Those are probably the 2 most common subjects I am asked about in game (videos being a close 3rd ehe). So you couldn't have done better at all

I was just a little bummed my first in game link was out of the buyer window thats all. I did find some on Trib today for 2500 plat. Now I am debating buying a couple just for fun. Not sure how the seller would react! People are using the nostrums - broken affects aside. I couldn't find any items for sale with which to make them.

And just a note on permafrost crystals. Don't forget the groundspawns. I seem to recall getting close to a stack a run without killing anything back when I used to need them for glaze.

All in all it was a nice tidbit to come back to! AC + tradeskills...man thats just spot on...bravo Ngreth You've done a heck of a job since you took over tradeskills!

Be aware there are more spawns than Boba listed (I think theres around 18) but not all are up at the same time. I used to get tons down in the dire pup area and the ramps leading down there. They are easy to spot (look like black and red rocks in the snow) just open doors and look in the corners and what not.

Yeah, my fellowship logged early last night, so I was all alone and spent a 2 hours slaughtering permafrost. Got 62 total, but I think I found only 8 groundspawns, and none of them respawned from the time that I first picked them up to the time that I left.

But yeah, lil brown poo piles is what they looked like. Probably why I didn't really notice them as well.

Hmm, I timed the spawns not too long ago and I noticed it took them somewhere between 1:45 and 2:00 hours to respawn.
