Anniversary Scavenger Hunt

I realize this isn't tradeskill related, but since the frustrating part of it is, in a way, here's my post.

I zoned into the Nexus tonight, and found some yellow text on my screen. I found the NPC mentioned, and I got a book, and a bag with a combine button.

After a friend and I figured out the clues, I went searching for the parts, and gathered all 10 items.

However, when I tried to hit combine, it said "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

This makes me sad. I have all the right items, unless Sony threw in a few extras, just to be confusing. I have checked them all to make sure that nothing else slipped in on me. Nothing. They're the right items (to the best of my knowledge) and it's the right container. Just won't let me combine.

Any ideas?

All 10 items had been identified within a few hours after they went live and no new "collector" item had been discovered yet so either the quest is bugged or one of the item you have is a decoy and no one found the right one yet.

I hope the correct item isn't in vex thal, not many are keyed for it and would be very hard to get many people keyed in one month.

We have found the 10 correct items. They have a bunch of decoys in.

Just confirmed. The quest from nexus takes:

1. A Collector's Crude Stone Idol from ST.
2. A Collector's Sonic Wolf Ear from TM.
3. A Collector's Grimling Toe from GF.
4. A Collector's Elemental from Twilight Sea.
5. A Collector's Polished Stone from ML.
6. A Collector's Sun Revenant's Veil from SD.
7. A Collector's Lightcrawler Shell from DSP.
8. A Collector's Rockhopper Hide from MS.
9. A Collector's Netherbian Claw from NL.
10. A Collector's Fungal Fiend Flesh from PC.

ST on the list is SSRA temple or Shadeweaver's Thicket?

Clicky item that summons familiar and adds EB for 600 minutes. Doesn't stack with any pet so no use to me. I could summon pet first, then use the clicky reward just for EB buff.

Not really useful to high level toon who can get EB AA that won't take buff slot or has worn faerune item.

Are you sure that is correct? I just read elsewhere that it is the Double EXP potion?

It sounds like the new scavenger hunt gives out the familar, but the old scavenger hunts are back up as well. So if you do the 6th ann. scavenger hunt, you will get the double xp potion.

I'm a bit annoyed with the scavenger hunt for a whole different reason. For the last few days, I have finally gotten around to working on my fletching and have been farming for condensed shadows in shadeweavers. I have a nice pattern going of starting around 3pm I go in and wipe them all out, looting whatever shadows I get. By the time they respawn, it is night time so they respawn as the ones I want. Then the next day I go through again. But because of the scavenger hunt, people are killing them during the day and when I get back, a bunch of them have switched over to the other mobs.

Still waiting for some sort of fix so I can actually get the bag for this. Waited up the night NPC went live in the nexus only to find out she seems to think I already did the quest. Ended up doing the scavenger quest for all 3 characters I play, but the items are just sitting in inventory on my main right now. Even though the item is totally worthless to me, I would still like to have it.
