Fabled J-boots for my wizard, and gate takes me to my trader spot
Maybe someday I'll PL him up to get secondary recall to the bank.

Stranger yet, back in bazaar 1.0, I had my vendor set up right next to the pottery wheel. I'd periodically load her up with various parts needed for a skill up run. One day I'd enchant 10 or so stacks of clay and put on her. Couple days later I'd lacquer up some gems for her. Then when I've got enough parts on her, I'd park myself next to vendor and pottery wheel and start combines. Then buy supplies off her as I need them. This was to save me from making extra trips to the bank all the time. I'd price the enchanted clay at around 50p each. I didn't mind paying that much because I knew I'd be getting it back at the end. Mind you, enchant clay is like a level 8 enchanter spell and clay itself costs like 3gp. So it'd be real cheap and quick to PL an alt enchanter up high enough to enchant clay on your own. But on several occasions, I'd have people come up and clean her out of enchanted clay. At 1K per stack.

This didn't happen just once. It happened several times, with different people buying them. I was a little irked that I'd have to go back and reenchant a bunch of clay, but that was the best ROI I've ever gotten reselling stuff in the bazaar.

My hubby knows the reason. LOL. He was on his trader and was buying up stuff to do the foraging mashette (sp?) quest. He supposedly bought enough for both his ranger and my druid, but when got to the bank, strangely enough he only had enough for one quest.... scrolls back thru the text... munch, munch, munch.... he took a bite out of one the forages needed... poor starved trader was so excited to have food. LOL.

Needless to say, we PLed his bard up to level 15 for that song so it wouldn't happen again. A lot of quest/tradeskill items are also labelled food/drink.

You don't eat/drink in trader mode, but as soon as it is turned off for a quick run, they sure do eat like there's no tomorrow.

Don't you have to right click the food in order to get the emote "munch, munch, munch..."

I don't ever recall seeing that emote unless I actually force myself to eat it.

That is correct. Only by force feeding do you get emote you ate or drank something. Auto feeding don't do any emote as it's done quietly.
