Mature Pandas?

I was all set to start my cultural tradeskill quests on my Erudite alt. I am stymied at the Stonebrunt Mountains (expert) level quest. I need to kill 5 mature pandas. Fourteen hours of killing every wandering mob (except the kejekans) in the northern part of the zone, and with either my husband's druid, or a friend's ranger tracking for me, I have found two mature pandas. I've killed young pandas and elder pandas. But for the life of me, I cannot find the mature pandas.

Are there any Erudites out there who can give me a hint as to where I might find them, or what their placeholders might be?

The north part of the zone is the only place I found them, and as you noted, they are rare. Three evenings of scorched earth on the entire snow covered part of the zone finally got the last Mature Panda.

And to think before I started, I thought pandas were rather nice creatures.
