You ever had one of those days?

So today has been one of those days., you know the ones, days that start out average and just fall into dreary at an alarming rate.

Today i thought, lets do some JC combines maybe get a point or 2 closer to master. 140 diamond combines for 0 skill ups. Ok i can live with a low run on RNG it will all be ok.

Diamonds gone, lets got farm jord meat and more diamonds while lfg. 3 rezzes later because for some reason today i have hit bad luck extremes, i decide to try something else.

As the day continues, nothing is going my way and im thinking ok luck can only be against you for so long but this is really starting to bum me out.

End of a rather frustrating day i decide well cant get any worse so might as well try the 2 sets of combine parts for Artisan's Charm i have been saving.

i proceed to give the 12 remaining extra pieces i have to a guildie and think to myself, We are artisan's and sometimes we have to suffer for our arts, today just goes to show that no matter how bad it looks if you keep pushing on the RNG it has to give sooner or later

I know exactly what you mean - and just a couple weekends ago, a sunday started out as such...

I log on, run back to the bank - get the snot beat out of me on the way. Oh, I was going back to the bank to get PP to buy some SoW potions /sigh. Us Warriors simply love corpse runs. Especially on the Combine - no run speed.

Ok, well a death - a long corpse run, live with it, I think - afterall, you are playing on a progression server, tis' to be expected.

Get corpse and make it to the zone with 20 health. I was just loved in FM that day.

Rested up (ok, thank gosh for OoC regen now).

Run to FV - get potions! yaaay.

Hmm, no one on, I'm gonna go hunt.

So I need arrows. My fletchings right around 120 or so.

Class 2 wood arrows (my favorite for hunting, due to range)

... WTF??? That's like 80 points trvial at least. Luckily they are cheap.

Managed to make those ok.

First mob.... Corpse run.. Ok, you'd 'think' a warrior could solo a light blue, sheesh - guess not. Back to corpse... grrrrr... didn't leave a couple sow potions in the bank /sigh

Ok, maybe bad luck, I'll try again. Couple minutes later I'm zoning with low health and I'm dotted. Although I did get lucky, frantic bandaging and Focused Will kept me barely alive.

Alright, I really need to find a group.

Managed to find one. But it's a bunch of newbs... LOL, sorry, it just was.

Still, got a bit of positive XP and only one death I shrugged off.

Later, group splits... I'm LFG for a bit. At this point I'm thinking 'ok, this is one of those days I loose tons of PP, XP, and don't even gain any decent amount of defense skill ups... lol

Well - naaaa, I'm not gonna think that way today. Then it dawned on me in the next group. I wonder if the 'perception' of an overall bad day was just all my doing. Naaa, couldn't be. But for some reason I was numb - i was just happy to be playing and not at work. And short of a RL distaster, nothing was gonna mess with that, lol.

So I decided I'm gonna fire up my own group. So I grab the one guildie LFG and start adding pick ups - the group was patient and I was selective.

Rest of the night was just splendid. Maybe I just lucked out, dunno. But try to change pace or something on those days and think positive

lol, I know that's VERY hard sometimes..... I guess it's a matter of perspective too - afterall, a BAD day playing EQ is still better than a GOOD day at work, lol.

I sold a complete set of GM armor the other day, woohoo!!

Then I was crafting to restock. In the course of making the seven pieces I failed on combining a batch of 3 metallic scales and on a batch of 6 metallic scales. I think I salvaged one scale on each failure.
