So with Spell researching having been very prosperous lately (I started with 200k, I am not resting on about 600k within my first month and a half of making spells). I figured it was time to start maxing out the remaining tradesills that I had yet to do. So me, a druid friend, a wizard friend, and a cleric friend (and two bots) take a trip to Ssra Temple.
They were looking for exceptional shissar bloods, I was looking for scales. First day, got 68 in two hours of AE'ing everything I could manage to pull, combined them that night, went from 272 to 282 and was really happy. Went back solo, got about 50 more scales, got from 282 to 288. Went back a third time... managed to get 80+ scales... got to 289 tailoring. Oh well, put the breaks on tailoring before I had a fit.
After that bad run, I decided to try something else... I wanted to do JC... so a friend of mine enchanted me 60 bars of silver. Made myself 60 silver chains, bought the gems, and sat down and combined. Went from 282 to 288 and was happy, but decided that I wanted to do more the next day so I had my friend enchant 400 bars of silver. Next day and 90k later... one skill gain to 289.
Then I move onto pottery... got 400 clay enchanted, lacquered 400 star rubies, made 400 CE... went from 266 to 289... 100+ combines at 289... never went past.
At this point, I was a touch frustrated... three skills stuck at 289... and my eye turns to my last skill below 289 that's not at 300... Fletching. At this point, I slap myself, walk away from my computer, sat down at the TV with a case of beer... and watched some football.
