The order:
1 GM chain BP + aug
1 GM chain legs + aug
1 GM chain helm + aug
1 GM chain boots + aug
Should take 14 scales right?
Making bricks:
6-combine attempt...failed, 2 recovered
rest successful
BP take 1 - full failure
BP take 2 - full failure
Helm - success
Boots - success
Boot aug - success
Helm aug - success
*get more scales/hides*
BP take 3 - full fail
BP take 4 - success
BP aug take 1 - full fail
BP aug take 2 - success
*get more scales/hides*
Legs take 1 - success
Legs aug take 1 - full fail
Legs aug take 2 - fail, scale recovered
Legs aug take 3 - success
So, 14 scales and 2 hides poofed...**** near 500k...most of it was the other guy's money, but it friggin hurts to be the one wasting it. I threw in a couple of my own scales and ores as comps, though. Ended up using over double what the order should've taken. Just pisses me off. I understand the stuff is supposed to be "hard" to make, but control it using the trivial skill level and not some hardcoded YOU WILL FAIL a quarter of the time but you wont know when. Look at my sig...not 100% perfect but **** close. Hell I dont fail near as much on my Halfling and he's at 260 skill.
