This is not a primal scream of anger, or one of joy. Rather, it is a dumbfounded gasp of utter disbelief. Hence the title of this thread.

I was hunting around in my favourite stomping grounds (the Skyfire Mountains) today. I started around 3 PM or so, took a break around 5 PM, and came back at 10:30 PM and played until 1 AM. Would you believe that during those time periods, I found not one but FIVE Pearlescent Fragments! FIVE OF THEM! Even more ridiculous, all but one of them rotted due to the fact that nobody was around to loot them (and I advertised in /ooc, /guild, and the Tribunal's Steel Warriors chat channel)!

If that's not some sort of record, I don't know what is. If any of you have run into situations like this, please share your experiences on this thread about the epic cleric quest or any time you had insanely good luck with your drops, no matter what you were up to. Myself, I simply don't believe what happened to me today.

one Shredded rotted because group wipe and we couldn't get back to corpse in time ...

Poor clerics

I accompanied my wife's cleric and hunted for about 2 hours in SF, no fragment (this after a few failed earlier attempts in her younger levels). She went to bed and I stayed back after a KEI refresh, logging her only to loot up anything 'important'. I solo often (rather too much according to her), so farming for her fragments was of little issue to me.
In the morning she woke up to 2 fragments, so she went ahead and tried farming with her uber girl (her warrior).
That evening, after I came back from work, she was still at it, and asked me how long it had taken me to get the fragments since she had been at it for 10 hours non-stop and got merely 1. Least to say I was rather reluctant to mention I had only been online for the duration of my KEI.
She went to bed (I imagine particularly miffed) and I stayed back for another hour if that, getting her last fragment.
I just couldn't bring myself to tell her the truth. I think even today she believes I was there for about 5 hours *hopes she doesn't read this... well... knows she won't unless a certain female pussycat shaman (you know who you are) tells her so :P*.

My guild went to DoN for an aprés-raid Circle of Drakes run. We killed, we randomed, we had our lone wizzy cast AE TL and people started to vanish. I, being a neato necro, stayed behind to kite. In the middle of my first pull, the two-minute warning started to flash.
