LoL My guy is a DE Smith (260 skillz) and someone needed a ton of GM armor (only DE can make DE GM armor), he had like 35 scales (35K each cost), I made him 11 items and he paid me 220,000 (20K per succesfull combine). Failed on like 4 combines (some require up to 3 scales). I made 220K for 40 mintues work. He got stuff he could sell for over 2.0 million plat easy but he gonna use it.

Did 2 BP (260 skill All AA's 5percent mod) right off the bat, failed on Legs 3 times in a row, success on the 4th (recoved like 4 sheets), failed one time on helmute and made all the others, wrists arms boots gloves. Failed on one scale to make sheets out of 35.
Then did my 5 scales, lost one on sheets, failed a wrist and then made 3 wrists in a row.
