Lost Skillups
This week I had one of the all time strings of bad luck. On Tuesday night, I went LD during one of my guilds raids, Yar'Lir. When I came back in game, I was dead at my bind. Dang it. I noticed that my guild had completed the fight and was headed to Vish, so I was going to summon my corpse and then run back to the raid.
I got a summoning stone and tried to summon my corpse only to not get my corpse to pop! WTF I am thinking. I decided to go ahead and petition and about an hour later I recieved word from a GM that my corpse had been deleted by the server. At this point I am bordering on slightly pissed off. The GM told me that I would need a rollback of more then 36hours in order to recover my corpse.
I accepted this, with the understanding that I was going to lose 11aa, Tailoring from 250-261 and Fletching from 284-288. I had no choice.
After my roll back had been completed, I was checking my bank to see what I had lost and then I realzied that the 5 stacks of Shissar Scales that I used to get those 11 tailoring skill were missing. I realized that Shared Bank does not get rolled back on character roll backs. I petitioned and the same GM responded and after a litle fenaggleing I got the scales back.
Tonight, I decided to try and get the skillups that I had lost back...I started with my Fletching components, 38 combines, 2 skillups instead of 4. I am again, mildly annoyed. I decided to tuen my attention to tailoring. After 100 combines on Human DoN (Master) I only got TWO SKILLUPS.
Needless to say, I am pissed off. In the end I lost 11 skillups all due to a server hiccup. /sigh
