Ogre hair mats and Small sack of Ogre baubles???

I would like to know the reason for these things Small sack of Ogre Baubles and Ogre Hair mats. These items drop way too frequent and have no use anymore, they just polute the loot pool making it difficult to get what you are after...like Raw-Hide Gorget. I seem to remember they had a use once but now they drop from Orcs every where way too much almost every kill has one on it and nothing else. Please either limit the drop rate or eliminate as so far no use I can find and cannot be sold.

OMG! Raw-hide gorget! My worst enemy! I totally feel your pain.

LOL... I spent much of this weekend in Befallen wiping undead after undead looking for one. Sadly, I never did get one, but after a while my lovely wife decided to help and she got TWO in Lavastorm off the gobbies there.

Just thought I'd let you know in case you still need it.

These items are probably for an undiscovered quest, just because it is as yet undiscovered doesn't make the items obsolete.

But since it doesn't seem to be tradeskill related, you should /feedback or /bug it in game, or post in the EQLive quests forum, or there's a rthread in teh Developer's forum on broken quests that a Dev seems to post in a lot...I think his name is Rainbird...

I'm getting ready to kill things to get a gorget for my little gnome alt. Where are you all having the best success finding these? Goblins in Lavastorm? Orc? Any tips for me?

Please forgive me, I momentarily lost my head and shamefully forgot that it is not right to ask such of our wonderful friend here Ngreth. However these things are driving me nuts, they drop almost every blasted kill and I really want to get my hands on those ogre artisans who make them in such abundance so that they sell for such a cheap margin as to make them so prevelent in the loot table, and wring their not so scrawny necks...lol It is enough to make a Monk a drunkard. I do appologise Ngreth please forgive me here.

Hope you didn't think I was hacking on you. My intention was to use humor to point out how to re-phrase for the best effects.

I've been sitting on a post about how freakishly rare the Unrefined gems for the 8th Shawl were for me the last (the very very last... until TheWife makes me help her get them) time. It's been months and I'm still too mad to make a post about it that won't get me banned.

I feel your pain, and wish we could have a more responsive feedback system on some drops. Some stuff is just too rare. (Metallic Drake Scales anyone?)

Now I'm trying to remember where I used to get a ton of Raw-Hide junk. Might have been Permafrost from the Gobbies... Or maybe it was the Barbarian Fishermen in West Karana. (Actually that might have been ringmail or something... plus it's SUPER bad faction if you ever want to walk near a Halas-faction person in the future.) ... Mobs in Befallen maybe? It's been a while...

No actually you were right to remind me I was adding my own bit of twisted humor there too...lol but I don't want to put any pressure either real or imagined on Ngreth he has done wonders for us tradefolk and we don't want to burn him out...yet.../grin. I got two after about 5 hours of play both in lavastorm and SRo...man was that a task and I got two accounts and wanted to get tailoring trophies on both, not so sure now...lol

Unrefined gems aren't rare you just need to pop the simmering mobs by killing all normal mobs in WL. Always one per shimmering mob.

Two dropped for me tonight Itek, in creator. If you were on I'd have brought you instead of pick-up cleric =(

Anyway, too get back on topic. Some Ogres should think about wearing the hear mats, may help improve their looks =p

We need to upgrade are starting weapon and tunics. They're just under-powered for today's gear. A BoC/(1hb Caster version insert here) & Fungi Tunic/(BP for Casters and those not put on Fungi usable list insert here). Thanks for your time
