    Ok i have been wandering around punching my track and find buttons for ages..... still cant find that darn smiting quest guy!

    I dont mean to knock Sony but really.... a zone like this with no Find function... WTF Mate!

    Aye. The abysmal find is FUBAR. I think it has to do with the fact that there is so many levels to the ship, and find doesn't work well when the Z axis comes into play.

      not 100% sure but if I remember well the smithing guy is on same deck as magus, walk out of magus room and turn right and right again (so you actually walk behind the magus) walk past the building of magus and when you reach the sort of open deck area then the smithing guys are in a building on your right

        Yes, it is "behind" the building that house baking and brewing stuff. There's also tailoring section near the smithing section on the same floor and the find fails to work on those often.

          Thanks guys, i did manage to eventually find them. And I remembered where to go to find the jewlers cos i passed them about 6 times looking for the smith!

            Seems like they pretty much screw up find in the bazaar and Abysmal sea when they lowered the agro range of the Free Port guards that were clearing the whole newbie area on PoR release...

              if you walk around the bank in bazaar there are spots were it does work, otherwise right click the person you are looking for and it will turn you into their direction, then you just look on map to see which hall they are in

                The find function uses npc pathing logic iirc. Pathing has been messed up since PoR launched (lots of npc warping). Dev's are looking into the warping, so hopefully find will be fixxed soon. Too bad we don't get to warp like the npcs do when find fails .
