Why all the hatred towards shadowscream armor?
Personally, I skilled up my main character on humming orbs ever since cultural needles became trivial to him, and I've been using shadowscream armor as a smithing skill-up path ever since the orbs became trivial. True, it's a path that requires considerable farming and time on my behalf (not to mention acquiring the special quest tools), but it's relatively easy for my mage to do, and it helps the bank account in no small manner since it's far cheaper to make shadowscream armor than taking the other smithing skill-up paths. The various armor pieces also make for fair tribute, considering their low sell back price to NPC vendors. Of course, there's always the old "time is money" argument, but I'm as laid back as a gamer can be, so I don't mind spending the time to do this.
Given the vehemence people have aired against shadowscream armor, kindly correct me if I've missed something here.
