Parvusimmedias, do you mean dire wolves or drakkel wolves? The drakkel wolves are the ones required for the sixth prayer shawl (two whiskers, to be exact).

If you do mean the drakkel wolves, I personally had more fun trying to get the siren hair (I hate things that charm). Of course, one must always consider the tailoring trivial of 208 for this item, though I did successfully make the sixth prayer shawl on my first attempt with a tailoring skill of 158.

Aye, Drakkel Dire Wolves. The Great Divide variety.

I've found sirens to be fairly relaxing actually. As a cleric, I run across GD to PoMischief, run around clicking until I find the secret tree, then drop my butt into the frigid waters of Cobalt Scar. Swim NorthWest to the cave to Sirens Grotto, and past the sirens there, and zone into SG to clear agro. Zone back to CS, and swim just into the tunnel to target one of them, then blast w/ a nuke. Get out of the water, and run to the wall where it changes from cave to brick near SG. Sit there and read until the siren I nuked manages to path out of the water and into Nuke range. 5-6 nukes later and some melee sometimes, she's dead. I've done, sadly, about half an AA doing this for the 6 hairs I've failed with so far, with sirens conning DB to Green, most in the DB to LB area though.

54 cleric, with a buffed MR of 130, about all they land on me is a heavily mitigated nuke, and tash. Even tashed, my MR is around 100, which is still good for plenty of resists.
