Things Vendorminers HATE

Don't you just hate it when you come across things on a vendor that you think are what you're looking for as you scan, but are just similar? I've got my hopes up SO many times since the deluge of patches this week.

In particular, I hate:
Glossy Kirin Manes
Coarse Salt
Chimera Scales
Golden Ember Powder

What things do you hate coming across?

Not so much when vendormining, but Mature Drake Saliva always gets me when it drops LOL.

My pet hate are things I can't seem to leave alone that don't stack like Green Froglok Skin and Large Shard of Stone.

Got lucky the other day though. A buyer offered a decent price for my rock garden.

It's even worse when you get two items next to each other in the list; I'm always combining the names. The other day I saw a glossy kirin mane next to a supple corrupted drake hide, got really excited, and promptly crashed. I was very disappointed when I logged back in...

Tae Ew tradeskill items. They cost 2000+ pp to buy back, so it sucks if you see someone sold some Tae Ew blood, and it's tempting if you see some Flawless Tae Ew hides.

2k is darn cheap for Flawless Tae Hides... I would do a little dance of joy if I saw some (or even 1) on a merchant.

And Tae Ew Blood is only 225pp or so off a vendor. It's the other Tae Ew items, like the meat or cazicite, that are priced at 2K.

I never seen Tae Ew blood on a merchant, so I just thought they're all priced the same as all other CT anything.

I bought a Flawless Tae Ew hide for 2k before, incidentally, and made it into a bag with the other hide I had.

What drives me nuts is finding a ton of low level items (rat fur, fire beetle eyes, etc.) in Tranquility. I mean... what the heck are these people doing in their spare time?

Fine Steel and Velium weapons! Raising one smith was bad enough, but now that I'm working on it part time on three freaking different characters.... gah! I would LOVE to give these people 2-4 times what the vendors are paying for them, instead of spending yet another evening in CC/Velks/RM farming blasted blasted blasted metal.

I don't usually vendor-mine, but the other day I was selling some vendor loot to one of the brewing guys to the north of the brew barrel in PoK when I couldn't believe my eyes.

6 Fine Bone Chips. About 20pp each.

This was right after I had spent an hour farming them and had looted 4.

Whoever sold them must not have gotten the memo.
