Frustration: thy name is Cultural Armor

It's been about 9 months since SOE introduced the new cultural armor quests and as far as I'm concerned they are STILL totally screwed up.

Now before you jump all over me, please hear me out.

It took me a while but I finally figured out that the Pattern Book produces patterns that are usuable for all levels of armor and the books obtained for doing the "favors" are the ones that give patterns for the augs, which are essentially rank-specific.

But my problem is with the recipes to make the actual armor and augs. I can't find them. I can't even find the recipe to make a Cultural Sewing Kit.

Now I know that all I have to do is scroll down through the database entries on this web-site and I can get all the info I need. But what I want to know is this:

Where is all this info IN THE GAME???

I realize that SOE believes (and I happen to agree) that players should have to put some work into getting this type of item and that there should be a sense of accomplishment once success is achieved. But in my opinion, they've made obtaining the necessary information to do these combines on a level with figuring out where to go and what to kill to get your Epic weapon.

In closing: Should the trivial points to do the combines be high? Sure.
Should it be difficult and / or expensive to get the necessary materials? Certainly.
But should it be necessary to spend countless hours trying to find or figure out what you need to do the combines in the first place? I say NO! And until SOE puts the info INTO the game where it's relatively easy to access I won't be attempting to make any Half-Elven Cultural Armor (or any other kind for that matter).

There's a book sold by some vendors that tells you the basics of cultural smithing & tailoring. Then the books you get from the quests tell you more about what you need to use. I also believe that there are vendors in each city with books with the rest of the information.
Angelsyn Whitewings, Cleric of Tunare for 66! Seasons.
    Grandmistress Smith - 300, Grandmistress Tailor - 300, Potter - 300, Jeweler - 300, Brewer - 200, Baker - 200, Fletcher - 200, Fisherwoman - 169
Keyne Falconer, Paladin of Erollisi Marr for 66 Seasons.
    Grandmistress Baker - 300, Grandmistress Blacksmith - 300, Potter - 200, Brewer - 139, Tailor - 91

Aye, through completing the books that get you the patterns and the symbol patterns pretty much flat out tells you how to do whatever it is you want.
