Anyone else think the new grandmaster charm should be like any other cultural pieces and have 3 aug slot?

The GM charm isn't worth making. I'd rather buy a DoN charm with 2 slots or stick with the Intricate Wooden Figurine. The GM Charms were a nice idea, but lets be real...who would really want one? Someone with no PoP flags, someone with no LDoN wins? Sure maybe. but even then they need to come up with a full set of GM Cultural. Fixable? Sure. 2-3 aug slots, slight increase in overall stats maybe. I'd be happy with a second aug slot.Forest Scion Anahka Slivermane

yes, just adding type 9 on them would help a lot and wouldnt be much of trouble for devs.
adding type 12 and 11 would be useless since no augment would fit that, unless they modify actual augment on makret to fit charm slot (wich would be best but lot more work...i guess)Gynko Byl'oba

My Current suit is at Arms, Legs, Chest, Helm and soon to be Boots.
I understand the concern with the Slipgear + LDoN augments being huge stat bonuses and such. I am hoping to make the GM charms for humans, but that does not look at all likely considering that I have to gather Coarse Spider Silks. I am curious if two slots would be all that unbalancing. I am at full time access, so the raw GM charm has a LONG way to go to being even close to an upgrade. Given that the DoN Charm is easilly accessible... I wonder if the GMs will have better stats than that. Afterall, DoN Cultural is better than the DoN vendor purchased... the same "should" hold true of the Charms.
Pottery has been dying for something worthwhile to come it's way. It may seem unbalancing to have a charm with 3 slots as it would be able to out stat any other charm in the game (that I am certain of). However, at one slot, it's not really worth it for a potter to go to the trouble of doing the GM/Master's quests, working up skill to 300, just to combine an item that will have next to no market in the first place.
I have had the spare two Master's Charms on my trader, one banked one in trader... neither has sold. I am down to 7k already on them, hoping that MAYBE it will sell. If it doesnt sell by next week, I am going to drop it down to 5k.
The biggest detriment to these charms is that if you have all four types of armor... you get stuck with 1 you want + 2 extra you have to pretty much destroy cause there really is zero demand for them.
I hope that I am surprised... but to be honest, the Master's level charms have been a huge let down in terms of marketability and desire for them.

My cleric is human, and wears almost a full set of GM armour. I made her a master's charm, and the stats now are ok, a tiny bit better than her PoP one. Unfortunately, I *had* to make three, and the other charms are therefore rotting on my trader.
I was going to make one for my bf's shammy and maybe warrior, but he asked if the DoN charms were better, and since they are, he's going to get one of those instead.

I know I would love to make a Cultural Charm... but trying to get Storm Volaas Hairs is crazy.
There should have been multiple recipies... or a separate, generic ingrediant... instead of combining multiple bricks/threads/whatever.Angelsyn Whitewings, Cleric of Tunare for 66!Seasons.

Instead of making the stats based on Faction (useful) or have Fixed Stats like many other charms (also useful), they made the stats based on how much DoN gear you're wearing (not useful to the vast majority of people).
As a result, I have 200 unused GM Charm Patterns rotting in the bank where they will stay until the developers come to their senses and make GM Charms into something most people would want.

and add
On AB mds and gdh are selling for 15k+ - coarse spider silk is rare as hell and is priced 20k for 1 so a swatch is 40k.
I sell a gm's human BP for 90 or a robe for 120k so I have to price the charm at 30k at least to be at level with component values.
Make it a normal GM item - i.e. base hp+30 fix with 3 slots and we will have a fine market and also a good item.

I am fully aware you can mix and match the pieces, as long as they are cultural. In fact I did a faily long post pointing out that very fact when charms came into game. You might wanna read it. My point was the GM charm with GM cultural isn't worth it. If you mix in lesser cultural pieces it drops the stats on the charm. Making it less worth it as compaired to a DoN charm + augsForest Scion Anahka Slivermane
