    Not really a primal scream, more of just a primal groan.

    "May you live in interesting times". Bleargh. No thank you, I'll take a helping of boring right now, pleasethankyouverymuch.

    I am very glad to see this expansion hit the site in a relatively "tame" manner compared to past expansions. I think I'd need far more than the straightjacket of tradeskilling otherwise. {shamble}

    Not only EQ, but also EQ2 released expansions yesterday ... and we run sites for both ... and I didn't touch either beta this time around - so didn't even have notes to work from, much less any prior knowledge of where to find vendors in the new zones, etc..

    On top of various real-life distractions going on, I kinda sorta totalled my car last month (everyone's ok, thankfully), so have been dealing with new car stuff, on top of everything else. I even had to reschedule the installation of the security alarm for the new car, when I realized that the day scheduled for it was the same day as the launch of both expansions. Meep.

    I also realized a few days ago that the player-made furniture catalog for the EQ2 site was woefully out-of-date, and that more furniture was incoming with the expansion, so I spent a couple days grabbing images, editing them down to the proper size, then manually editing raw html tables (with some php codes thrown in for good measure), complete with images, juggling cells up and down rows alllll over the place due to needing to have things in a certain sequence. Glerp.

    So, this m*rning, right before I had to trundle out to the rescheduled alarm installation, I was showing off the finished product to Verdandi, when she pointed out that the paintings page was awry. Apparently, in my many hours of frenzied editing, I did a cut and paste error, and mucked up. Aigh!

    At least it's less than 20 images on that page, once I sort out which what goes where ...

    Blork.

    (And yes, tired halflings DO make odd sound effects, as Maddoc and others have found out when they catch me on ICQ at odd times ...)
