Well, it was nice while it lasted.

On the one hand, I honestly expected this after Splunge mentioned it back in February (sincere thanks to Splunge since I hadn't noticed it yet at that time and comments seem to indicate that not many others had). On the other hand, as the months passed and it was left alone, I began to think it would not be nerfed and started saving up the flies while using other tradeskill items for immediate tribute hand-ins. I didn't happen to check the Fishing forum to see the one post there that appeared in the 2-3 days between when this change appeared on Test and when it went live. As a result, I had over 200k in potential tribute poof with the change.
Btw, the high tribute to cost ratio was nice, but the real advantage to me was that the flies stacked and I could store over 20k tribute per bank slot. Since PoP bows are still worth too much in the bazaar to make good tribute, I guess I will have to start looking at BD cultural again.Comment
