    WOOT! My wife made her first Aug!

    Radiant Sodalite of Potency

    My wife is a rogue and recently got to 300 skill, with salvage 2. A couple days ago I found an uncut Sodalite in bazaar for 5k. Pretty sure that was a typo, but I bought it for her immediately to experiment with. (Leaving us both flat broke.)

    A few days later and some time collecting cash, we were able to get the rest of the components. A friend's enchanter radiant-cut the stone for us, and pointed out it was at least a 50k stone. Just made my wife MORE scared when it came time to mark it. She crossed her fingers through both combines, but forgot to use her geerlok on the first one. (Would it matter?)

    The chanter who cuts augs for us recommended a list of popular marks which might sell well. I have my own wish list of effects that I can't get any other way for a ranger. Potency was the one point of overlap. Now we've got it on sale and if it doesn't sell, it's still an item we can use.
    I tried combining Celestial Solvent, a Raw Rough Hide, Rough Hide Solution and a Skinning Knife. But the result was such an oxymoron, it opened a rift into another universe. I fell through into one of Nodyin's spreadsheets and was slain by a misplaced decimal.

      *chuckles* Kind of reminds me of buying my Kyanite.

      Was doing my rounds checking the bazaar and saw a Kyanite for sale for 20kpp, bought it immediately. As I was finishing up, I checked Discordant Scoriae and found one of those for 20k also

      Everyone loves a great deal in the bazaar eh? :P

        My palms sweat...

        whenever I look at the uncut tourmaline in my inventory. I have JC 290/304, JCM 3, Salvage 1, 325 INT...but that's a 200k aug uncut, 250k cut...

          Is it something you'd equip?

          If it's for you, then cut it already. If you're going to resell it... then sell it if you're that nervous.

          I had an SK friend with Salvage 1 & JC 300 who I trusted to do any Aug cutting I needed for awhile.

          And I make GM armour, with Blacksmithing 298, no Salvage, no Mastery!

            I finally cut my tourmaline

            but I closed my eyes when I clicked combine. The next night I went to Blood Fields with a druid friend and we got TWO slugworm drops in about 30 mintues so we each got one.
