OMG Grats!

I've just finish on my third book ( Expert) - but haven't made anything yet, but by the looks of it I need to start geting both tailoring and smithing up. And work on the fourth book. Since I'm only 57 I can't do the AWESOME Grandmaster stuff just yet. Thanks for showing it off

You don't have to get both of them up. The only reason I did the symbol with tailoring (considerably lower skill than smithing) is that I have had an abundance of Glossy Drake Hides drop vs Metallic Drake Scales. I am also horribly impatient

After getting salvage 2 yesterday, I finally attempted my combines too. I had saved up 13 metallic drake scales and 9 glossy drake hides for the attempt. With 273 tinkering and 256 tailoring, I am now the happy owner of Gnomish GM Culteral BP + Symbol, Legs + symbol, and the symbol for boots and a wristband waiting for whenever I can scrounge up more drake scales.

Success rate on the armor was at 50% as predicted by the site calculator, and 44% on the symbols.

Oh, and Salvage 2 saved me 1 metallic scale and 2 drake hides from failed combines. Definitely was worth waiting for that AA.

All in all I'm a very happy gnome!
