Thanks to the GM level DON armor, I was able to build a BP for myself that was a 30 AC and 100 HP upgrade over the Seru BP I had been wearing for two years. I expect I'll get just as much mileage out of this one.

It makes me so much more proud to wear this upgrade, because I tinkered the BP myself. The type 12 aug, while not tradeskilled, is also a quest aug that represents a metric crapload of timesink and work done on the parts of several of my friends to help me get it done.

I also want to thank Gaddilae, who was kind enough to click combine for my GM chest symbol. Unfortunately, you can't tinker symbols, so I had to seek out a smithy for that frustrating combine. Thank you for all your hard work and plat getting that skill up, for the hard work earning your GM symbol patterns, and for spending those AAs on mastery and salvage. I am so very appreciative! I'm going to get you that hammer in appreciation, I promise. ;-)

                First of all, gratz

Not to offend/etc.. but most of that is in the BiC aug...

without the BiC aug, its only 140hp ~ and stats are lowered..

Not trying to upset, just saying, you wont see 220hp per piece for GM armor, and not everyone will see it on the BP.

In general, the items are still 100-140hp for the BPs iirc.
Is nice, but once again, I agree its a little low for the tradeskills required.

And the BIC aug I have in my BP is by no means the end game version of the augment. The only flag required for that is from Smith Rondo. The rest is all just a bunch of work on the part of you and your friends, something that most tradeskillers embrace.

Also, as a tanking class, it is the 130 AC (all but 6 of which come from the BP and the XP augment, not the quest augment) which is amazing. This BP has more AC than the Breastplates available from Plane of Time, Uqua, and Inktu'ta, even after they're augmented with the same Flameshield Stone!

I was more impressed that someone went through and did all the quests and didnt lose her mind doing so.. My BP < esp as a halfling cleric> will be quite different but I am sure I will love it as much!

                    Grats again Ghismonda!

That's awesome, and if anything the BiC augment demonstrates huge time put into a character just like the tradeskill item. Incredible job!!

                            Gratz on the BP =).

Curious though, is the gnome cultural tinkered?

It can be made via smithing or tinkering. I tinkered my BP (282 tinker, 223 smith) Silk can be made via tailoring or tinkering, as well. The cultural swatches or metal bars must still be smithed or sewn, however.

Slightly different recipes which require extra drops from PoI, but the same trivials. Which honestly is very cruel, since there is no Tinkering Mastery AA.
