Somethings make no sense to fail. IE: Sifting Flour. The only way I see being able to do that is to drop the stupid sifter on the floor. Beating eggs... spill them out. Even cooks who work at their job for a long time still do make mistakes. Generally though, they make far less mistakes that someone less experienced... to me, that is a good point to trivials at failures. I also see failures as, in the case of the eggs again, having a rotten egg in the batch, or a tear in the animal's pelt, or ore that isn't as pure as it should have been.

I can see a reason for the fails, but yeah, something like wow where you just get various grades of the armor would be cool too.

Making MTP's is not just shoving 7 items into a basket.

My baker firmly believes that a proper MTP can only be made if the content is delivered into the basket via ice spear (ice comet not being an option her class has).

          Not true, btw...velium + BD = 302 trivial.

While it may be expensive, the NPC vendor resell is still better than any other option at that point.

Good luck from a fellow jeweler! (300 skill as of 4/11/05)

Skill up's are still as frustrating as before.. all the major ones..Smithing, J/C and tailoring are all atking 100+ combines per skill up.
Trying to farm 200 othmir furs to only get 1 skill up.. just 1.. thats a weeks worth of farming..48 more skill rises to 300... that alot of weeks (almost another year), and to tp it off working on other skills as well.

I very much hope that the bonus that get implemented on 'special' combines (I guess we will find out what recipes have those soon enough).. but I pray it takes less time to farm then than 200 othmir furs ><

Right now, I am concentrating on getting my wis capped and Salvage 2.. just to save a little of my sanity. Taking a short break from the tradeskills while I blow off steam.

I've got my fingers crossed, except for combining the occasional handful of non-triv'd jewelry items that actually sell on a merchant (to try and keep some money in my bank) I've also stopped trying to skill-up on jewelcraft. I'm hoping beyond hope that the foraged LDoN gem stones become part of the 'special' combines. I currently have an entire 10-slotter in the bank with just geodes and that would help me soooo much. For someone who can never get a LDoN with her forager and will only pay a reasonable price for the gems it's taken me about 8 months just to get that many. And anything to help me get those last seven points without watching my sanity leave me in 2000+ clicks of the mouse.

P.S. Noticed you changed the server name since I ran into you the other day.

Yeah, they're being sneaky about that and using code.

Top of the page, left hand side, under the nesting forums folders. "User CP"
/whispers to Menssia "The CP stands for Control Panel. Don't tell anyone."
First item under Settings & Options on left is "Edit Signature"

                  Hope that helps
