  • 1/2er woes

I'm on the Grandmaster quest, just past the 80 fractured drake claws part, and I cannot find the right spot in Stillmoon to kill the '10 stone casters' and loot ... whatever it is.

I have killed in regular stillmoon and in an instanced stillmoon (which, btw, is *much* harder). If I hadn't been killing in the 'Lost Comrades' instance for the 80 claws, I would not have been ready for mobs that hit in the 800s on a 1/3 basis.

I gained 20 AAs in 2 days worth of experience grind to finish this part and now am rather frustrated that the next part is something beyond my feeble brainpower to comprehend.

    Any suggestions?

Additionally, I've been reading about the fletching problem at 282 and the fact that wood elves have a leg up on everyone else. 1/2lings were also mentioned, but with the Guardian Arrow stuffs; while the subcombines are made by Karana worshippers, the final combine is done in the Surefall Glade Fletching kit, which is only utilizable by wood elves.

So that's another thing I'm misunderstanding. Please enlighten this almost-Master Artisan in the ways of getting myself closer.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I didn't ensure I was in the right forum for this. It's not necessarily a rant, just info and a request for some direction. Mod, please move this to the correct forum for me please? Thanks very much

    Hi Hake,

The Surefall Glade Fletching Kit is not used by Wood Elves, it can only be used by Halflings.

The Wood Elf cultural fletching kit is called "Fier'dal Fletching Kit" and can only be used by Wood Elves.

You must be a Karana loving Halfling in order to make cultural arrows in the Surefall Glade Fletching Kit. You must be a Tunare loving Wood Elf in order to make cultural arrows in the Feir'dal Fletching Kit.

    Cheers,

Are you referring to steel guardian/blessed steel guardian arrows? Because as a half-elf Karana worshipping druid, I have made oodles of the things. I give them as tribute, give them away to group members, sell them...and still I have a mule full of the dang things Unless they changed it in the last month or so, not sure when my wrists decided to call it quits on fletching.

        Okay

Thanks for pointing out my misconception there Lokase and Ziela. Fletching is now 300

Any answers to my other question? I'm still stuck, unaware where I can go to kill the Stillmoon stone caster(s) to finish off the halfling GM tradeskilling book.
