Arrrghh!! Aug Failures Stink!!

Dang I hate failing black gold inlays (failed one today). I hate failing adding a mark to a howlite (failed one today). I hate failing adding a black gold inlay to a stone (failed one today).

Total cost o' failures today, somewhere between 500k and 1000k. *SOB*

And naturally I only fail the ones that I most want to succeed.. the stuff that doesn't matter near as much to me (i.e. for sale and not for personal use) succeeds.

aug fails

Yeah, I made 4-5 augs for my main character with no real problems, but had a goal of making a 40 haste aug with some other useful gem for my only melee alt.
Looted howlite = poofed cutting
purchased howlite = poofed marking
looted tourmaline = poofed marking
purchased radiant howlite + purchased black inlay = poofed inlay
same howlite + looted scoriae = poofed making inlay
same howlite + looted scoriae (inlay) finally success.

One expensive aug.

edit: this all before 300 cap, but with capped/mastery 3 TSers
