    Can I have.....

    Gotta love these people!


    I set myself up on a new home on the Mordern Rasp server (10 Rogue, what else?).

    Using what I've learned, I've been able to keep my toon well equipped with good gear for his level by hunting MOBs that drop needed items, mainly spiderlings and spiders.

    So, here I am, spiderling silks are going abour 5-6PP each, so I put my 29 threads at 9PP each (I figured that was a good price I could sell them at but not low enough to make re-hunting them when my tailoring needs them worhwhile). I see others at 10-15PP each (ouch!).

    Set up trader, go AFK for the night.

    When I get up the next morning, I see a tell from someone.

    "Could U help me plz? I really need ur threads but I don't have any money, could you give them to me?"

    Too bad he was offline when I came back...

    It would be different if he had made a reasonable offer, but give them to you for free? Heck no!

    (And I'll ignore the spelling etc.. in his message).

    Maybe I should move to a PvP server and just kill the people who ask me questions like that.

    PvP does indeed solve problems like that. LOL.

    Come with me to this arena. That's the only place in the bazaar where direct trading is allowed.

      Remember... some newbies, annoying as they can be, really are newbies.

      Futher keep in mind that you can kill many spiderlings and not even see a silk, and for that matter, many newbies could well have missed the concept of combining the spiderling silks to make the threads...

      When I am asked something like that I'll usually tell the person where to hunt and how to get what they need.

      Of course that was not an option in this case due to the timing....

        *laughs* If that annoys you, you should come to Test. We get people that come in and do a /testbuff. It gives you level 25 and a fairly nice set of gear for the level, and all of your spells. And they still beg! It drives me nuts. At level 25, 5 minutes in a newbie yard will get you as much money as you need to buy malachite, which is about the only thing you don't get when you testbuff.

        *shrugs* I guess that's what the ignore list is for.
