So last night I managed to get a couple of Windmetal bow cams from a guildmate, and together with a bowstaff that i had to borrow a huge sum of plat from a friend to buy, I was successful in making a Signet Featherwood Bow. (this was my 2nd attempt)
So off i trot, a little halfling, up the tall lift to see Mr Grimmel. The memories of all the pain and suffering i had been subject to while trying to finish this quest, running through my mind.
There he stands, waiting to insult those who's skill is not up to scratch.... waiting to belittle those who havent managed to kill Sol-Ro or Vallon Zek....
Strenthened by the knowledge that i have traveled the planes (appart from Time), and that my crafting skills are all much better that his, I walk over to Grimmel....
....And Jam that Bow right in the little git's Eye!
As he rolls on the floor clutching his face, i bend down and rip my new Runed Signet off his ear!
Next i reach in my pack, i fetch out the 3 Bristlebanes Party Platter's that have been festering in my bank for over 2 months while i tryed to get the bits for that Bow. The are coverd in mold and are so stale that they are rock hard. Dropping them into a bag with the Signet, I square my feet, heft the bag and begin to beat that little turd senseless....
After a while I begin to feel much better, and would you belive it a Marked Runed Signet falls out of his pocket. Lucky me!
So i wander over to Councilman Taldarius, and he is nice to me, he tells me that i am a Master of the Trades as well as a valiant spirit. So i give him the earing and a dusty old Hope Stone and he gives me a Signet of the Arcane! JOY!
