Recently, a young (level 4) Erudite Enchanter asked me if I might have any spare cash. I replied that I had spent pretty much all my cash on tradeskill supplies that day. I went on to suggest he get a buff or two and head to a newbie zone to kill stuff.

He mentioned that it was very difficult seeing stuff and killing stuff. Remembering what a horror Toxulia Forest is, I let him know that a buff like Temperance would increase his hitpoints and armour class a great deal, and that the Freeport newbie zone was much easier to fight in.

Then I remembered... the new Tutorial. I suggested that he activate the tutorial, where he would learn quite a bit about the game as well as be able to gather a little cash and a few items.

When I was making my second Livestone BP last night, that same enchanter, now level 15, thanked me effusively for my advice... and asked if I could spare a Temp.

P.S. Clerics... if you're casting Temp/Virtue... throw in BoR for the casters. The young fellow was amazed at the fact that there was a spell to reduce his casting times!
